AUSTIN — A strong first quarter propelled the Burnet High School boys basketball team to a 61-49 victory against Austin Reagan on Dec. 20.

The Bulldogs (6-5) took a 17-8 lead and continued to add to it throughout the contest.

As a team, Burnet was 18 of 21 from the foul line.

“It was important because we got a contribution from everyone on the team,” Bulldogs head coach Roy Kiser said. “Plus, it gives you a big confidence boost to beat a group of good basketball players.”
