Burnet boys basketball team gets rolling in first, doesn’t slow down in win

AUSTIN — A strong first quarter propelled the Burnet High School boys basketball team to a 61-49 victory against Austin Reagan on Dec. 20.
The Bulldogs (6-5) took a 17-8 lead and continued to add to it throughout the contest.
As a team, Burnet was 18 of 21 from the foul line.
“It was important because we got a contribution from everyone on the team,” Bulldogs head coach Roy Kiser said. “Plus, it gives you a big confidence boost to beat a group of good basketball players.”
