Eula Pearl Vickers, 83, of Granite Shoals, Texas, died Dec. 10, 2013, in Austin. She was born Nov. 24, 1930, in Sugar Land, Texas, to Charles Arthur and Mary Elizabeth Coburn.

She graduated from Sugar Land High School and worked many years as a secretary in Houston and Marble Falls.

Eula and Harlen Singleton were married March 9, 1951, and raised their three sons in Iowa Colony, Texas. They moved to Granite Shoals in 1977. Harlen passed away Dec. 16, 1981. She married Francis Glenn Vickers on Nov. 12, 1988. Glenn passed away Sept. 22, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, sister Sarah Copley and brother Albert Coburn.

She is survived by her sons, Kirby Eugene Singleton and wife Margaret of Richmond, Charles Keith Singleton and wife Kathy of Sacshe and Kurtis Wayne Singleton and wife Taira of Marble Falls; stepdaughter, Glenda Sue Vickers; sister Eloise Lubojasky of Sugar Land; and brother Charles Arthur Coburn of Alvin. She also is survived by granddaughters, Sherry Lorain Singleton, Amy Michelle Singleton, Megan Christine Singleton and Bailey Ann Singleton; grandsons, Steven Carey Singleton, Matthew Edward Singleton and Harlen Thomas Singleton; two great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.

She was loved and admired by many and will not be forgotten.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Dec. 12 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. A funeral service is 1 p.m. Dec. 13 at First Baptist Church in Granite Shoals with Randy Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.

Pallbearers are Steven Singleton, Matthew Singleton, Jesse Kliesing, Bret Burkhart, Ernest Coburn and Chris Hernandez.
