Burnet boys basketball squad splits road games

WIMBERLEY — The Burnet High School boys basketball team recently went 1-1 on the road.
The Bulldogs (2-4) lost to Wimberley 63-44 on Dec. 10 but beat China Spring 44-35 on Dec. 6.
The Texans took a 19-6 lead after the first period and never looked back. Burnet outscored Wimberley 24-22 in the second half.
After China Spring and the Bulldogs played to a 20-20 halftime tie, Burnet outscored the Cougars 24-15 in the second half.
