MARBLE FALLS — For some holiday shoppers, fashion might be an elusive concept, but one local store has a few gift ideas for the sweethearts in your life.
“We’ve been in the business for 50 years, so we know what it’s like to help guys who are clueless what to buy,” said Madlyn’s co-owner/manager Trisha Greenfield, whose store is located at 2106 U.S. 281. “And, if we really can’t find it, every girl loves a gift certificate.”
Some of the hot items this year are accessories, including scarves, heirloom jewelry, socks and especially gifts that complement mothers and daughters on the move.
“We have some unique little gift items, which are great for stocking stuffers,” she said. “We have some really cool gloves this year. They are called Echo Touch. You can keep your fingertips warm and still use your tablet and smartphones.”
The store features quality heirloom jewelry for less than $15, colorful scarves, socks and slippers as well as ladies and young miss clothing and shoes.
“It makes people feel good — especially women. If you’re wearing something pretty, you’re going to have a smile on your face,” Greenfield said. “You’re going to be confident and conquer the world.”
