Burnet girls basketball team defeats Salado to start 2-0

BURNET — The Burnet High School girls basketball team has started the season with back-to-back wins after defeating Salado 46-34 on Nov. 8.
The Lady Dawgs (2-0) went on a 7-2 run to close out the first period for an 18-8 lead. They built that to a 32-13 advantage by the half.
Burnet began the season with a 62-57 win against Comanche on Nov. 5.
