Lucille Halliburton passed away peacefully Oct. 15, 2103, at the age of 89. She was born to Thomas and Emma (Goble) Martin in Hoover’s Valley on Aug. 24, 1924.

Lucille moved to Llano in 1939. She married the love of her life, Ottis Lee Halliburton, on May 9, 1941, in Llano. He preceded her in death on May 9, 1995.

She was a member of North Side Church of Christ in Llano.

Lucille also was preceded in death by her parents; son Tony Lee Halliburton; daughter Connie Sue Halliburton; brother Thomas Martin; and sisters Bernice Haskell, Ruth Forehand and Elva (Slim) Coats.

She is survived by her son Jerry Dean Halliburton and wife Judith of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; daughter Rita Halliburton of Llano; sisters Wanda Miller of Houston and Lillian Massey of Marble Falls; brother W.H. “Toad” Martin of Buchanan Dam; 11 grandchildren, LaKay Homesley, Deana Kenner, Wade Halliburton, Sheila Pitcock, Kevin Halliburton, Tracy Leverett, Kristy Halliburton, Kim Whitley, Darin Halliburton, Jeanette Halliburton and Brian Halliburton; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Oct. 18 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 307 E. Sandstone in Llano, (325) 247-4300. A funeral service is 2 p.m. Oct. 19 with Wardell Halliburton and Kevin Halliburton officiating. Burial will follow at Llano City Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kevin Halliburton, Steton Watson, Wade Halliburton, Jordan Leverett, Alex Homesley and Sammy Leverett. Honorary pallbearers are Darin Halliburton, Brian Halliburton, Ricky Oestreich, Wayne DeCesaris, Aaron Hogan, Shayne Pitcock, Jerry Don Moss, Dave Kenner, Aaron Moss and Sam Cook.
