OBITUARY: Lauretta Catherine Preston, 75, of Kingsland dies Oct. 16, 2013
Lauretta Catherine Preston, 75, passed away Oct. 16, 2013. She was born to Harold Thomas and Winifred (McLaughlin) Greene on Oct. 19, 1937, in San Francisco.
She was an activities director at Kingsland Hills Care Center and taught school in the past. She was especially proud of her family.
Lauretta is survived by her husband, Hubert Preston of Kingsland; children Reneé Wood of Minneapolis, Shawn Bluebird of Schertz and Andrea Reed of Marble Falls; six grandchildren; brothers William Greene of San Francisco and Harold T. Green of San Diego.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Dana Cogswell; and brother Joseph Greene.
A celebration of life service is 2-5 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Cimarron Ranch, 1388 Cimarron Ranch Road in Marble Falls. Memories will be shared at 3 p.m.
