OBITUARY: Weldon Brice, 83, of Kingsland dies Aug. 31, 2013

Our dad, Weldon Brice, went to be with our Savior on Aug. 31, 2013. He was born in Coleman, Texas, on Jan. 27, 1930.
We will be celebrating his life at 2 p.m. Sept. 7 at First Baptist Church in Kingsland. The Rev. Bubba Stahl will officiate.
Daddy died at home, where he wanted to be. In fact, he had often told us, “You can take me straight from this house to the funeral home.”
His life was fruitful and bountiful. He was always practical and free with providing instructions, whether we asked for them or not. His heart was big, and he loved to laugh.
He was hardworking and always generous. He left a legacy of love, togetherness, support and strong family loyalty.
He was preceded in death by brothers Jack and Hollis as well as the true love of his life and wife for 45.99 years, Patsy Hatcher Brice.
He leaves behind his brother Don; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves us, his three daughters, Sherry, Lori and Mar, to carry on with strength, independence and humor.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 3435 RR 1431 West, Kingsland, TX 78639.
Arrangements by Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767. Email whhfuneral1@verizon.net with condolences.
