OBITUARY: Charles Wayne Qualls, 73, of Marble Falls dies June 22, 2013

Charles Wayne “Charlie” Qualls, 73, of Marble Falls, Texas, passed away June 22, 2013, in Gulfport, Miss. We all mourn the loss of a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend — to just about everyone! Charlie was born in Holland, Texas, on Dec. 17, 1939, and raised in Bell County and moved to Burnet County in 1972.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Nell Robinson Qualls; daughter Becky Gervasi and husband Bill of Garden Ridge; son Terry Zinz and wife Lisa of Burnet; son James Zinz and wife Pam of Houma, La.; son Robert Qualls of Lampasas; daughter Tammy Qualls of Marble Falls; grandchildren, Brandon Broaden of Englewood, Colo., Bill Gervasi III of Enid, Okla., Jared Gervasi and wife Veronica of Carrolton, Crystal and Kerry Zinz of Burnet, Tiffany Duhon and husband Thomas of Lake Charles, La., Charley Matherne III and Johnathan Matherne of DeQuincy, La., Claire Zinz of Houma, La., Kayla, Mariah and Tayden Qualls of New Braunfels and Burnet, Tera Burk and husband Chris of Biloxi, Miss., Heather Compton of Kingsland and Kaitlyn and Madison Compton of Marble Falls; great-grandchildren, Clayton and Colby Zinz of Burnet, Cade and Teagan Burk of Biloxi, Miss., and Liam Compton of Kingsland; cousin Beatrice Ivey of Temple; cousin Bethel Blaha of Dime Box; colleagues at Benny Boyd; and hundreds, if not thousands, of friends.
