Racers take the hill for fourth annual Marble Falls Soapbox Classic
The fourth annual Marble Falls Soapbox Classic is June 14-16 on Main and Third streets.
One of the biggest changes to the racing won’t be to the rules or regulations, but to the schedule. Racing goes until midnight Friday, June 14.
After the Show-n-Shine & Parade at 6 p.m. and the opening ceremonies, racing begins at 7 p.m. and will go late into the night. KBEY 103.9 FM Radio Picayune will be doing a live broadcast 5-7 p.m. during Show-n-Shine.
The annual dance isn’t going away; it was moved to Saturday night.
The dance June 15 will feature Beto and the Fairlanes beginning at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Racing finals are noon to 4 p.m. June 16.
