OBITUARY: Lino ‘Nano’ Gutierrez Jr., 50, of Marble Falls dies June 7, 2013

Lino “Nano” Gutierrez Jr., 50, of Marble Falls passed away June 7, 2013, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Born Nov. 4, 1962, in Burnet, Texas, he was the son of Lino and Benita (Salazar) Gutierrez.
He is survived by his parents, Lino and Benita Gutierrez of Marble Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Reggie and Chance Webb of Burnet; son, Lino “Boo” Gutierrez III of Cottonwood Shores; grandsons, Cooper Webb and Case Webb; granddaughter, Sophia Gutierrez; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert and Debbie Gutierrez and William and Julie Longoria; and his partner, Mindy McCloskey. Lino also is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers Tony Gutierrez and Eddie Longoria.
Lino always enjoyed a good laugh with family and friends. Football was a passion that started at an early age, and that led him to a state title for the Marble Falls Mustangs. He had a competitive spirit that overflowed to the golf course, where he squared off against older brother Robert. His love of family was unshakable.
Visitation is 6 p.m. June 10 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. A Rosary will follow at 7 p.m.. A funeral service is 10 a.m. June 11 at the funeral home with Bro. Cruz Soto officiating. Interment will follow at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
