Galloway Hammond Recreation Center upgrades a hit with members

BURNET — The first phase of renovations at the Galloway Hammond Recreation Center in Burnet have brought in more members to see the upgraded facilities, officials said.

The city’s $150,000 worth of upgrades have improved the center’s aerobics, spin and weight rooms. A second phase of renovations, which will improve the lobby area and include glass walls, is scheduled for completion this fall.
