First Baptist Christian School students advance to state meet

Six elementary and middle school students from First Baptist Christian School in Marble Falls have advanced to the Private School Interscholastic Association State meet at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth on May 4 after placing first or second at the district meet at Notre Dame Catholic School in Kerrville on March 23. Students include Sarah Tinsley (left), second in fourth-grade Ready Writing; Hayden Young, second in sixth-grade Prose; Aurora Gilmour, second in second-grade Spelling; Truman Ross, second in fifth-grade Prose; W.P. Roche, first in sixth-grade Ready Writing; and Keelyn Ritchie, first in fifth-grade Prose.
