FLORENCE — The Faith Academy girls track team placed second overall at the Florence Relays on March 28. The Lady Flames competed against nine other schools.

QUOTABLE: “(It was) windy, so our times were not what we wanted, so we ran for place. The basketball girls are starting to get into shape. As we move closer to district, we look to fine-tune our relays and get everyone mentally prepared for the track playoffs. It’s all about be ready when it counts,” Faith Academy head coach Steve McCannon said.
