Headed into District 51-4A play, the Lady Mustangs had a 7-4-1 record. Their only district win was a 3-0 decision against Leander High on March 8 right before Spring Break.

“That (victory) put us in fifth place (in district),” Marble Falls head coach Trey Young said. “It’s not where we want to be, but it’s improving. I think it was a positive year. It was growth. My big deal was to start us off in the right direction.”

Young was in his first year as the head coach of the Lady Mustangs.
