Marble Falls golf teams make strong showings at Llano Invitational
LLANO — The Marble Falls High School golf teams made great showings at the Llano Invitational Feb. 21-22.
The Mustangs’ No. 1 boys team shot a 321, its season low, for third place while the second team finished with a 376. The girls No. 1 golf team was second overall, while the No. 2 team was fifth at the Llano Invitational on Feb. 21.
“The high winds made it difficult for scoring, but several girls had personal tournament bests,” head coach Lonnie Tackitt said.
The tournament drew 15 teams and 90 golfers.
