OBITUARY: Jo Patton, 84, of Granite Shoals enjoyed cooking, loved to dance
Jo Patton, 84, of Granite Shoals passed away Feb. 18, 2013. A service for Jo is pending at this time. A service and burial of her ashes will take place at Pleasant Valley Cemetery at a later time.
Mable Jo (Williamson) Patton was born June 6, 1928, in Burnet to Wiley Monroe Williamson Jr. and Lena Mae Lowery Williamson. She grew up in South Texas and was a resident of Granite Shoals since 1990.
She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, friends and neighbors. She loved dancing and listening to country and western and spiritual music. She had a wonderful sense of humor.
Jo is survived by her daughter, Sandra Johnston of Cedar Park; and sons, Johnny Lee Pavelka of Lakehills, Donald Gene Pavelka of Austin and Ronald Dean Pavelka of San Antonio. She also is survived by stepsons, Ric Patton Jr. and David Patton, both of Dallas; sister Gladys Atkinson of Granite Shoals; and brother, W.M. Williamson Jr. of Bertram. Jo also is survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Patton, in 2002 as well as sisters Monetta Bollom, Dorothy Clinton and Wilma Pavelka and grandchild Gina Rose Vasquez.
