Thomas Edward Little, 75, of Buchanan Dam, Texas, and formerly of Burnet, passed away Feb. 10, 2013. He was born in Detroit on Sept. 19, 1937, to John and Helen (Parkinson) Bogie.

Mr. Little proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and earned a Purple Heart while there. After retiring from the Army, Tom loved to socialize with his many friends and enjoyed hunting and fishing, carpentry and traveling to visit family. He also liked to cook and was an avid fan of horse racing. He was a member of VFW Post 10376 in Marble Falls.

He married Nadine Atkison on Nov. 15, 1980.

Tom is survived by his wife, Nadine; son, Kevin Little and wife Edie of Round Rock; daughters, Joan Perez and husband Kim and Rene Hall and husband John, all of Napa, Calif., and Shelley Gutierrez and husband Rubin of Kemper; brother, Curtis Little and wife Shirley of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sister Claudette Mogle and husband Keith of Ocean Shores, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Bogie, and sister Sandy Boone.

A graveside service was Feb. 15 at Bluffton Cemetery in Bluffton with the Highland Lakes Honor Guard. Ken Barrington officiated.
