Another sign of spring

The start of February signals the beginning of sports on the diamonds, and Scearce Fields at Marble Falls High School saw plenty of action Feb. 2. The Lady Mustangs softball team welcomed Burnet and Burkburnett for varsity and junior varsity scrimmages, while the Mustang baseball team played an intersquad game. The Lady Mustangs start the season against Wimberley at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at Scearce Softball Field, 2101 Mustang Drive in Marble Falls.
