Lady Mustangs win two at Colorado Cup soccer tourney
BASTROP — The Marble Falls High School girls soccer team finished the Colorado Cup Tournament, which was held Jan. 18-19, on a two-game winning streak after beating Round Rock Cedar Creek 1-0 and Seguin 4-0.
The Lady Mustangs lost 1-0 to Brenham on Jan. 18 at the tournament.
Lady Mustangs head coach Trey Young said he saw a lot of consistency from his players.
“(It) really felt like we had opportunities to win that tournament,” he said. “The lesson learned is how important it is to start strong.”
