Golfers hit holes-in-one at Horseshoe Bay, Burnet courses
HORSESHOE BAY — A couple of golfers started the new year by sinking holes-in-one.
Terry Turner’s came on the par-3 13th hole at the Slick Rock Golf Course at Horseshoe Bay Marriott on Jan. 5. Turner used a 7-wood from 168 yards. Witnesses were Lee Detenbeck, Gene Geyer and Bill Trapani.
Glynn Allen sunk one on the No. 16 hole using a 4-iron from 165 yards away at Delaware Springs Municipal Golf Course in Burnet. Witnesses were Jerrell Kauffman, Scooter Lenox and Bennie Lenox.
