Donna Belle Moser Neiswonger, 87, of Spicewood, Texas, and formerly of Manassas Park, Va., departed this life Jan. 5, 2013, at home surrounded by family. The daughter of Orton D. Moser and Georgia Stella Hart, she was born in Vienna, Va., on Aug. 16, 1925.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles D. Neiswonger; daughter Carolyn Poarch; and grandson Timothy Rew.

She is survived by sister, Bertha Spitler of Woodstock, Va.; daughters Jane Lauby of Spicewood and Deborah Suiter of Southport, N.C.; grandchildren Anthony Mallette of Crockett, David Poarch of Manassas, Va., and Denise Morton of China Grove, N.C.; seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Many called her “Granny,” and she enjoyed visiting with Niki and Geoff Hall while they lived with her.

Donna was employed by Prince William County (Va.) schools for many years. She loved the Texas Hill Country and sat outside with her pets Maggie, Willie and Mia as much as possible.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
