Shirley Sutherland Morgan
Shirley Sutherland Morgan, 70, of Kingsland passed away Nov. 25, 2012. She was born to A.R. and Ivelt (Morck) Sutherland on May 7, 1942, in Green River, Wyo.
Mrs. Morgan worked in marketing and as a certified nurse assistant for many years. She was married to James Morgan.
In her spare time, she enjoyed, golf, reading, bird watching, TV movies and feeding snacks to her dog. She was also a history buff.
She is survived by husband Jim Morgan of Kingsland; children Mecca Kealoha of Eugene, Ore., Mark Lawlor of Portland, Ore., and Guy Lawlor of Oregon; brother Robert Sutherland of Flagstaff, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and her beloved dog Putt.
A memorial service is 10 a.m. Dec. 1 at the Putnam Funeral Home, 145 Texas Ave. in Kingsland, (325) 388-0008, with the Rev. Jeff Davis officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
