Patricia ‘Patti’ Ann Halfacre

Patricia “Patti” Ann Halfacre, 78, of Buchanan Dam died Oct. 12, 2012. She was born on April 10, 1934, in Nevada City, Calif., to Edwin Carson and Hattie (Roseberry) Burney.
She was a gaming industry employee for many years in Reno, Nev., where she met and later married Dewey Halfacre on April 16, 1988.
In 1995, she retired to Buchanan Dam, where she pursued her lifelong interest in art. She was a member of the Buchanan Arts & Crafts Gallery since 2005.
Survivors include daughter Vivienne Lee Robbins of Fancy Gap, Va.; grandchildren Robert W. Robbins III, Karie Robbins Carico, Kelly Robbins Swank, Kira Robbins Wood, Nicholas Robbins and Kimberly Robbins Smith; four great-grandchildren; brother Kenneth Waldis of Sparks, Nev.; and nephew Ken Jordan of Austin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Michael Evan Lee; and nine brothers and sisters.
A rosary and Mass is 10 a.m. Oct. 24 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Burnet. She will be buried 2 p.m. Oct. 24 next to her husband at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
