BURNET — Twelve of 21 anglers participated in the weigh-in on Oct. 13, high school fishing club sponsor Lorna Ellis said. The club is based in Marble Falls, but the tournament was on Inks Lake.

In all, the 12 anglers caught a total of 21 bass for 45.9 pounds, Ellis said. Though the weather was windy and overcast, it didn’t keep anglers from fishing, she added.

RESULTS: 1, Jake Meadows, 9.85 pounds including the Big Bass at 5.3 pounds (2 fish); 2, Nick O’Connor, 8.12 pounds (4 fish); 3, Lane Amidon, 5.12 pounds (2 fish).

ANGLER OF THE YEAR RACE: 1, Jake Meadows, 13.81 pounds; 2, Austin Ellis, 12.65 pounds; 3, Nick O’Connor, 11.44 pounds
