Norma Jean Sheppard
Norma Jean Sheppard, 88, of Marble Falls and Johnson City died Oct. 1, 2012. She was born on Jan. 24, 1924, in Nacogdoches to Clanton and Lerlie (Matlock) Nettles.
She married Rayburn Sheppard on June 10, 1939. They were co-owners of Thunderbird Lodge on Lake Buchanan for several years.
Survivors include daughter Rosie Wunderlich and husband Hardin of Johnson City; son Tom Sheppard and wife Tommie of Magnolia; grandchildren Lisa Maynard and husband Mark, Karen Jones and husband Dan, Blake Sheppard, Brandon Sheppard and Mandie Hill and husband Jason; and great-grandchildren Spencer Green, Lindsey Jones, Kadan Jones, Cassidy Reinke and Storie Sheppard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A funeral service is 2 p.m. Oct. 4 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. Charles Waugh will officiate. Interment is 2 p.m. Oct. 6 at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston.
