Gloria Marie Fry
Gloria Marie Fry, 79, of Marble Falls died Sept. 30, 2012. She was born on July 13, 1933, in Sweetwater to Alvie and Vera (Wells) Brantley.
She grew up in Llano and graduated from Llano High School. She met her soulmate, Wilford Fry, and they were married on June 13, 1953. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, survivors include children Randy Fry and wife Sandy, Debra Gliddon and husband Reverdy and Wilma Fry and Nick Barbieri; grandchildren Scott Turner and Susan Fosbinder, Dorian Turner and wife Becky, Lecia Gliddon, James Gliddon and wife Hollie, Lelon Brooks and Renee Burton and husband D.J.; great-grandchildren Colby Turner, Austin Turner, Aubrey Turner, Reverdy James Gliddon, Hayley Cristine Taylor, Tate Nathan Taylor, Jada Elise Barton, Michael Wesley and Hanna Frietag; brother-in-law Tommy Fry; sisters-in-law Wanda Fry and Carolyn Fry; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Patsy Schmidt, Nadine LaComp and Virginia West; daughter Connie Krause; and granddaughter Kandis Gliddon.
A memorial service is 10 a.m. Oct. 6 at Smithwick Church of Christ with the reverends Max Copeland and Linvel Baker officiating. Urn interment will follow at Richland Cemetery.
