Elton ‘Hop’ Ratliff
Elton “Hop” Ratliff, 92, a lifelong resident of Llano, died Sept. 18, 2012. He was born on Nov. 16, 1919, in Llano to Walter and Celia (Johnson) Ratliff.
He retired from Charlie’s store after many years as a serviceman.
Survivors include brother Bob Ratliff and wife Jean of Manchaca and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; father; stepmother Nora Belle Ratliff; and sister Ina Lea Penny.
A graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Sept. 21 at the Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Meegan officiating.
