Robert Dale Owens
Robert Dale Owens, 74, of Kingsland died Sept. 7, 2012. He was born Oct. 20, 1937, to Ida Jewel (Wolfrum) Owens and Henry Owens in Brady.
He was a veteran of the Navy. He married Graylene Kuykendall on Feb. 14, 1992, in Valley Spring.
He was a member of the Valley Spring Methodist Church. He loved playing bingo and dominoes and enjoyed hunting.
Survivors include son Roger Dale Owens and wife Amy of Buchanan Dam; brothers Benton Earl Owens of Red Rock, Donald Ray Owens and Peanut Owens, both of Brady, and Troy Owens of Austin; grandchildren Serina Burton of Tow, Kayla Baker of Burnet and Ryan Owens of Virginia; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2005; his parents; and two infant sisters.
A graveside service is 10:30 a.m. Sept. 13 at Cold Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Vicki Troy officiating.
