HORSESHOE BAY — Proposed changes to the city’s strict sign ordinance including exceptions for the Summit Rock development sparked a debate among residents and the business alliance Aug. 28 during a City Council meeting.

No action was taken.The city has had a stringent signage policy in place for years, which has been challenged in the past by the Horseshoe Bay Business Alliance. Summit Rock is primarily owned by the Horseshoe Bay Resort.
