Fans light fire under Lady Flames in first ever home-opener
MARBLE FALLS — Every time players on the Faith Academy volleyball team dived for a ball, fans cheered.
They cheered for aces and kills and even cheered when the Lady Flames simply got the ball over the net.
That’s the kind of excitement a first-year program can bring to a school.
The Lady Flames (0-3) lost to Kerrville Our Lady of the Hills 2-3 on Aug. 23, but the defeat didn’t dampen the fans’ enthusiasm while watching the first-year program play in The Fire Pit in the team’s home opener.
