BOERNE — Though the Lady Jackets were swept in a match Aug. 21, head coach Shawn Sweeten-Meredith said she saw her players attack the ball better and play better defense.
TOP PLAYERS: Lacey Redden 8 kills and 5 blocks; Alyssa Morgan 7 kills, 9 assists and 2 blocks
ON OFFENSE: Cheyenne Swenson 14 assists; Jessica Wunderlich 6 kills
ON DEFENSE: Wunderlich 2 blocks and 12 digs; Claire Williams 2 blocks; Swenson 8 digs; Cierra Caffey 7 digs
QUOTABLE: “Despite our efforts to battle against this team, Boerne had an answer for most of our attacks. Their tenacity wore us thin and allowed them to hang onto the momentum,” head coach Shawn Sweeten-Meredith said.
