MARBLE FALLS — The success of a new football camp that attracted hundreds of athletes and their families shows a proposed sports complex could someday give local businesses an economic boost, supporters say.

New Marble Falls High School football coach and athletic director Todd Dodge hosted the camp for quarterbacks and receivers at the campus.

“The camp is going to be good for the local economy,” Dodge said. “A handful made a vacation out of it.”
