Jamie LeeAnn Mowrey, 23, died June 15, 2012. She was born on April 5, 1989, in Austin to Mike and Christy Mowrey of Marble Falls.

She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.

She had a huge heart, a sweet smile and an amazing sense of humor. She was a gifted writer with an exceptional mind and loved books, music and movies. She loved the ocean and was looking forward to an annual trip to the coast next month.

She longed to travel and see other areas of the world and was working hard to make that dream a reality.

"Jamie, our beautiful rose who never fully bloomed, you will be missed so very much and your memory and sweet spirit will live on in all of us who love you," the family says.
In addition to her parents, survivors include brother and sister-in-law Matthew and Melissa Mowrey of Lubbock; the love of her life and soul mate, Zachariah Holte of Marble Falls; grandparents Jane Hicks of Marble Falls and Larry and Darlene Mowrey of Lockhart; great-grandmother Winona Patterson of Marble Falls; aunts and uncles Carla Shaffer and husband Mike of Marble Falls, Ricky Mowrey and wife Lestra of Lockhart, and Jimmy Mowrey of Missouri; and relatives Ashley and Jaylan Bible and a host of other cousins.
