Elisha Gerome ‘Cork’ Martin
Elisha Gerome ”Cork” Martin, 82, of Marble Falls died June 15, 2012, at his residence. He was born Oct. 13, 1929, in London, Texas, to Bengerman Martin and Ida Nelson Martin.
He served in the Army. After returning home from the military, he worked in construction.
Survivors include his wife Mary Martin; daughters Gaynelle and Barbara; sons Chip and Gary; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Raymond, Ray and Tuff; sisters Jean, Lorene Johnnie May and Jo; son Dennis; grandson Eric; and great-grandson Joshua.
A memorial service is 3 p.m. June 23 at the Buchanan Dam Community Center, also known as The Red Barn.
