Bonnie Faye McCann
Bonnie Faye McCann, 85, of Kingsland died June 15, 2012. She was born Jan. 21, 1927, to Nicholas Moore and Minnie Mae (Motes) Moore in Stamford.
She married James “Buddy” Earl McCann on July 16, 1945, in Abilene.
She had been a resident of Kingsland since 1990, moving from Odessa.
She was a member of the Calvary Hill Church. She also enjoyed bowling, water skiing and square dancing.
Survivors include daughters Debbie Kerr and husband David of Liberty Hill, Karen Kamenzind and husband Robert of Leander, Cathy Parks and husband Rocky and Diana Mitchel and husband Jimmy, all of Bertram; eight grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004; parents; grandson Jeffery Wayne Kerr; and great-grandsons Gavin and Landon McSpadden.
A visitation is 6-8 p.m. June 18 at the Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767.
A funeral service is 11 a.m. June 19 at the Calvary Hill Church with the Rev. Joannie Jackson officiating. Burial follows at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
Pallbearers include David Kerr, Robert Kamenzind, Rocky Parks, Michael McSpadden, Kerry Kamenzind and Chet Harrell.
