Kathlyn Burnham Rogers

Kathlyn Burnham Rogers, 86, of Spicewood died June 8, 2012. She was born in the Double Horn Community of Burnet County on June 30, 1925, to J. Morton and Pauline Mezger Burnham.
She graduated from Marble Falls High School in 1942 and attended Durham Business College and later Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
She raised three children in the Onion Creek area near Austin and had for the last two years resided in the Kingsland Hills Care Center.
Her hobbies included gardening, rock collecting, hunting and fishing. She loved animals and dancing.
Survivors include sons Gene Carrington and wife Deborah and Monte Carrington and wife Pauline, all of Spicewood; daughter Paula Kaye of Redlands, Calif.; grandchildren David, Rebecca, Paul and Lisa; great-grandchildren Isaac Carrington, Emilie Carrington and Ethan Chang; brother Murry Burnham and wife Jolene of Spicewood; and sister-in-law Tina Burnham of Round Mountain.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Winston Burnham.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. June 11 at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, 1805 U.S. 281 North in Marble Falls, (830) 693-4373. A service is 10 a.m. June 12 at the funeral home with the Rev. David Carrington officiating. Burial will follow at Round Mountain Cemetery.
