Hwy 281 bridge work shifts to north pier

MARBLE FALLS —Work is shifting from the south end of the U.S. 281 bridge replacement project to the north, meaning the blue cranes will have to be taken apart and reassembled.

That process could take two to three weeks, said Jason Cavness, project engineer for the Texas Department of Transportation.
