Granite Shoals council gives city manager 30 days to comply with ‘job performance’ letter

GRANITE SHOALS — City Manager Judy Miller has received a letter from the City Council addressing nine performance goals and giving her 30 days to comply after residents criticized Miller for being out of touch.

"The letter was approved by council addressing performance issues with Ms. Miller," said Mayor Dennis Maier. "I hope we can work together to resolve any issues."

After meeting with Miller in executive session, the council issued the letter May 31 listing nine areas of concern. During council meetings May 18 and May 22, several residents voiced issues with how Miller dealt with phone calls, volunteers and projects.
