MARBLE FALLS — Athletes who want to improve their skills have an opportunity to do so thanks to sport-specific camps offered by coaches in Burnet County.

The newest is led by Marble Falls High School head football coach Todd Dodge, who joined the Mustangs on Feb. 1.

He is conducting his 20th annual Todd Dodge Quarterback-Receiver Camp on June 4-7 for incoming fifth- through 12th-graders at Mustang Stadium, 2001 Mustang Drive.

“It’s not too late to register,” Dodge said.

The first session is 8-30-11:30 a.m. for students entering grades 5-8 and 1:30-4:30 p.m. for players entering grades 9-12.

The camp is designed with a 10-to-1 players-to-coach ratio, Dodge said. He will have about 15 coaches on the summer staff.

He said athletes from the same program won’t be split up during the camp, so they can work together.

Cost is $150 with a $100 deposit due with registration.
