Carmen Parker

Carmen Parker, 88, of Burnet died May 20, 2012, in Round Rock. She was born on Nov. 11, 1923, in Burnet to Samuel and Pearl Teagle McFarland.

She will be remembered for her kindness and the many years she spent in service to this community as a receptionist at the Allen Clinic.

Survivors include daughter Rebecka Neumann and family of Burnet and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Parker; brother Don McFarland; and sisters Frances Webb and Helen Box.

A funeral service is 10:30 a.m. May 25 at the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Burnet with the Rev. Ted Hervey officiating. Burial will follow in the Burnet City Cemetery.
