Della Heine

Della Heine, 75, of Smithwick died May 12, 2012. She was born in Moody on May 27, 1936, to Andrew Jackson Rhodes and Monta Ray Phelan.
She was a homemaker.
She grew up in and around Temple and Belton. She married Ted Heine on May 3, 1952, in Belton.
They lived for many years in the Cow Creek area of Burnet County between Bertram and Smithwick. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters Tresia Beckman and husband Neil of Smithwick, Debbie Olfers and husband Jimmy of Bertram and Shari Driscoll and husband Ben Jackson of Austin; brothers the Rev. R.V. Rhodes and wife Beverly of Andice and James Rhodes and wife Colleen of Belton; sister Sharon Billeck and husband Leo of Temple; and sisters-in-law Virginia Teague and husband Russell, Charlene Heine, Betty Rhodes and Betty Jo Rhodes; grandchildren Bubba, Karon, Barton, Alicia, Luke, Dinah and Caitlin; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and infant son Harold Wayne Heine.
A graveside service is 10: a.m. May 16 at Smithwick Cemetery with the reverends Dwayne Thompson and R.V. Rhodes officiating.
