Robert ‘Sonny’ Henry Spears
Robert “Sonny” Henry Spears, 66, of Lampasas died May 7, 2012. He was born in Charlotte, N.C., on May 15, 1945, to Lawton and Nellie Spears.
He married Betty Jean Armburster on April 1, 1971.
He served in the Army, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the Copperas Cove Veterans of Foreign Wars.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, watching sports and playing bingo.
Survivors include daughter Shannon Spears Jamison and husband Jason of Marble Falls; grandchildren Keri and Cody Summerville, Colton, Turner Jamison and Heather Jamison McGinty and husband Ian; and great-grandson Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2005.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. May 12 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with the Highland Lakes Honor Guard officiating.
