MARBLE FALLS — Four Marble Falls High School boys soccer players were chosen to all-District 51-4A teams, Mustangs head coach Michael Nave announced.

Junior fullback Eric Dominguez was named to the first team, while junior midfielder Danny Osornio was named to the second team.

“Eric was our (defensive) stopper who got us going,” Nave said.

Honorable mention honors went to senior forward Luis Ortiz and junior midfielder Uriel Solorzano.

Osornio scored nine solo goals and assisted in another, while Ortiz scored four goals and assisted in 11 others.

“Uriel was our sweeper, so he ran the defense,” Nave said.

Academic all-district honors, for averaging a 90 or above for a nine-week period, went to junior midfielder Brandon Garcia and senior fullback Jose Gonzalez.

“We’re proud of the achievements of the young men,” Nave said.
