Bill Brian Sumpter
Bill Brian Sumpter, 67, died April 10, 2012. He was born in Brownwood on May 7, 1944, to Oren and Hazel Sumpter.
He was a welder and gunsmith and had owned his own business in Marble Falls since 1972.
Survivors include sisters Martha Kay Sumpter of Anchorage, Alaska, and Susan Stenger of Brownwood; sons William “Bill” Sumpter and wife Kimberley of Brownwood and Stephen Sumpter of North Richland Hill; daughter Kristi Harmon and husband Tim Harmon of Cyprus; and grandchildren Justin Sumpter, Jason Sumpter, Jacqueline Sumpter and Jarred Sumpter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service is 2 p.m. April 14 at Smithwick Cemetery in Smithwick.
