Iva Lee Boyd
Iva Lee Boyd, 95, died April 8, 2012. She was born in Bell County on Nov. 20, 1916.
She was a world traveler, avid gardener and devoted homemaker.
Survivors include stepsons Walter Boyd of Austin and Larry Boyd of Buchanan Dam; and stepdaughters Carol Johnson of Marble Falls and Judy McCarty of Kingsland.
She was preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Irene Shannon; brother Lynn Shannon; husband H.M. “Smiley” Boyd; and stepson Mickey Boyd.
A graveside service is 1 p.m. April 13 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet with the Rev. Weldon French officiating.
