Donna L. Schwab
Donna L. Schwab, 77, of Burnet died March 28, 2012, in Austin. She was born May 1, 1934, in Angola, Ind., and was a retired dental assistant.
She loved gardening, traveling, taking long walks and just being outdoors. She was a member of the Blue Bonnet Corral, volunteered at Seton Highland Lakes Hospital and was on the board of The Friends of Hospice.
Prior to moving to Burnet, she and her husband lived in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where she was active with singing groups and amateur theater, as well as serving as president of the San Miguel Garden Club.
Survivors include husband Dr. Richard Schwab of Burnet; son Mitchell Pearson of Vermont; daughters Barb Watts of Georgia and Kelly Patterson of Ohio; sisters Linda Guspafston of Indiana and Judy Foster of Florida; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter
A memorial service is 2 p.m. April 20 at Longhorn Cavern State Park, 6211 Park Road 4 west of U.S. 281.
