Opal Adelle Leek, 87, of Kingsland died March 27, 2012. She was born in Dermott on June 1, 1924, to Willie and Frances (Moore) House.

She married Clifton "Clif" Cole Leek in February 1943 in Odessa.

She had been a resident of Kingsland since 1962 and was a member of the Victory and Fellowship Sunday school class at First Baptist Church in Kingsland.

Survivors include daughter Kay Dailey and husband Larry of LaPorte; brother Billy House and wife Neva of Azle; sister Mildred Bizzell of Kingsland; grandson Larce Baxter and wife Sherri of Kingsland; great-grandchildren Shayna, Daniel and Evan; nieces Wanda Taylor of Kingsland, Becky Dennard of Goldthwaite, Debbie Kasper of Spring and Julia House of Newton; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on Jan. 30, 1987; son Clifton Dale Leek; and sister Doris Payne.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. March 29 at Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home, 900 Industrial Blvd. in Kingsland, (325) 388-6767. A service is 2 p.m. March 30 at First Baptist Church in Kingsland with the reverends Bubba Stahl and Greg Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Kingsland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Jody Reven, Randy Taylor, Caleb Mitchell, Clint Boscamp, Bill Poling, Harry Bizzell, Daniel Baxter and Collin Boscamp.
