Dorothy Louise Blaise
Dorothy Louise Blaise, 90, of Kingsland died March 28, 2012. She was born in Higbee, Mo., on Aug. 13, 1921, to George and Alma Francis (Robb) Orton.
She married Fred Blaise Jr. on Oct. 17, 1939, in Mobley, Mo.
She had been a resident of Kingsland since moving there from Marion, Iowa, in 1973. She was a member of Calvary Hill Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary of Kingsland. She also loved sewing and painting.
Survivors include daughter Anna Lewis and husband Billy of Kingsland; sons Ardell Blaise Sr. and wife Linda of Nolanville, Terry Blaise of Gatesville, Okla., and Richard Blaise and wife Ruth of Kingsland; sisters Fay Bowers of Oklahoma and Evelyn Westfall of Missouri; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1985; three sisters; and seven brothers.
A graveside service is 2 p.m. April 2 at Kingsland Cemetery with the Rev. Joannie Jackson officiating.
