Lavern E. Smith
Lavern E. Smith, 88, of Springdale, Ark., and formerly of Kingsland, died March 20, 2012. He was born in Hooker, Okla., on March 22, 1923, to Frank Smith and Effie Blackburn.
Survivors include son Marvin Paul Smith of Kingsland; grandchildren Cammie Smith of Tonti Town, Ark., Tricia Smith of Springdale, Ark., Kathy Gonzales of Alamosa, Colo., David Kline of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Barbara Pritchard of Hooker, Okla.; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Lola Margie (Curry) Smith in 2008; brothers; sisters and granddaughter Jackie Kisner.
A graveside service is 10 a.m. March 22 at the Llano City Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Cundieff officiating.
